Not sure if you'd check back since your message was left yesterday and I just now saw this. What is his middle name? We almost went with Jacob but decided on a family name instead, Gordon, because of what it means to me though it is most definitely not my favorite!

Hey! I knew there had to be another one out there! We have a Rylan Bryce!! No family connection or anything we just liked the name! Is the name popular in your area? My aunts ex has a son with the name but he spelled it Rilen...i like our spelling better!!

Aww, very cute The name isn't popular at all where I live. In fact, when my  husband found it I said, "Is that a real name?" But I did really like it (especially since I teach and see LOTS of the same names). We kept the name a secret until his birth since it was so different for our area. But it was well received (or people faked it and that's okay too haha). I definitely like our spelling better! Almost did "Rylen" until I Googled it and all girls came up And Ryland looked too much like its "land of wheat" translation.

It was so cool to see your post because I hadn't seen the name come up at all, anywhere!

We probably wont put the next LOs name on FB since Rylans got "stolen" lol. We live in a small town so our Rylan will likely be in the same class as the other one. Not a huge deal or anything. We just laughed about it. I would have rather him been the only one, though. I definitely googled the heck out of the name before we chose it...i actually seen replies from a few adults with the name and they had all posted how much they love their name and how many compliments they get on it. Sometimes when we tell someone his name they think we said Riley...i think that has more to do with our southern accent than anything! Sorry for my lack of format...posting from my cell!
