if anyone has been successful in getting professionally monitored visitation, is it true that it usually only lasts one 'cycle' until the next court date if the supervised party gets a 'normal' or stable review from the monitor?

What do you mean by cycle until the next court date?  XH was granted 2 hours of professionally supervised visitation per week at our temporary orders hearing that was to remain in place until the final divorce decree was issued.  Based on the supervisors notes, XH's medical records, and some other factors he was granted 2 hours of professionally supervised visitation per week.  That's the current order and can only be changed if he were to file for visitation/custody modification and then he would need to support his motion for a change.  Does that answer your questions?  Also, keep in mind, I'm not a lawyer, just stating what my situation is.
