Lakeville, Savage area moms...need help with these areas to live in.

My husband is going to look at places (while I'm still in Salt Lake) tomorrow.  These are a few places I found on Craigslist.  I noticed a couple are near the freeway.  Are these good safe areas?  Things to do/see nearby?  Just wanting your opinions.  I don't want to waste his time if they're not that great.

Growing up in Lakeville it's a great place & as long as you stay out of the trailer parks it's very safe. Also I would look more on the East side

Can you give me an idea as to how far east in Lakeville?  Like stay east of so and so street?  That would give me a better idea.  Would you mind if I pm'd you with a couple of other listings, if they are in a good area or not?

sure you can PM but I might take me until tonight to get back to you. Ops I forgot to finish my thought before I posted before I would stay closer to the east side (aka 77) as you can just take 77 right to the airport but your DH could hit a lot of lights but 35E to 77 is also a nice way to go.

I grew up in Lakeville as well and I would say just about anywhere is a nice safe area.  Obviously there are some nicer and wealthier parts of the city, but I wouldn't  be worried about my safety anywhere.  I think there are 2 trailer parks in the city, and I would opt not to live there, but there are some really nice areas near them.  If going during regular rush hour traffic the commute to the airport will suck.  The freeway (35) splits just after Lakeville, in Burnsville, and this area backs up like crazy during rush hour (sometimes adding 30 minutes).

I live in Lakeville, actually about 1/2 mile from the freeway and from one of the trailer parks. We don't hear any freeway noise, and the neighborhood is great. Honestly, I think that most of Lakeville is really nice, there are just a few bad spots... just like any city.
