Oh my goodness, please tell me I won't have to navigate around these darn tethers! It's a 2011 so I've got the LATCH part figured out. The anchor for the tether is in the ceiling/roof near the rear of the vehicle. I hooked onto the anchor with the tether from the back of the chair but now I've got these darn straps in my way. I'll have to put her in the seat and under the strap. Is there a way around this? Seems like I should have a way of pushing them down the sides of the seats or something.
Signed,
First time mom. ;-)
Re: Britax Boulevard install in my Toyota Rav4 - Help!
Those anchors in the back ceiling are ONLY for forward facing!! Well, I think there is a way of tethering to the back things rear facing (called the Australian method) but then like you said the straps are in your way.
To anchor with that seat (I have it) you have to attach the tether clip to the included D ring, which you will attach to one of the front seats-somewhere where the seats are bolted to the ground. Look again in the manual & it will show you this.
Here is an example...
I found this as well - THANK YOU!
