Hi!

Where did you do your elective u/s? And is it really better than the "normal" ones? We haven't been able to get any good looks at the baby. The tech and doctor are satisfied and have seen everything the need to, but I'm disappointed.

Do you mind sharing the cost as well?

I'll share since I know where she went. It is Miracle in Sight on Mays St in Round Rock. You can do a 10 min scan for $40 ($25 off if you pay in advance and mention the coupon when you call), or they have some other packages for later in pregnancy. The pictures we got there are MUCH better than the ones from my Drs office and the atmosphere is really nice and calming.

I went to Bluebonnet in GT (they share a suite with the new birthing center that just opened up). I paid $60. Their equipment is brand new and top of the line. It's actually better than what I have at my perinatologists office. The only irritating thing was that they only accepted cash and didn't tell me that in advance. Other than that, I was pleased.
