Did I miss your post? How did your appt go? It was yesterday, right?
I am AMA and all tests on H came back normal
3 failed IVF with OE and 2 failed frozen DE cycles
Last fresh hail mary DE cycle starting Feb 2013
PAIF/SAIF always welcome
No, I didn't make a new post. I feel too AW if I post each appointment given my baby's pic in my siggy. It is a weird balancing act, being IFV and SAIF.
But thanks for asking . It went fine, given my situation. I have one follie at 18mm and another at 12mm. Pretty much going to only get the 18mm. I will likely trigger tonight and ER on Saturday. Which stinks since Dr. Griffith may not able to do my ER - he is going out of town to do a lecture. I will know more this afternoon after my bw results.
I am still planning on emailing you soon with lots of DE questions. I had the woman in billing at HFI send me the current DE pricing sheets. I am not sure how it is all going to work with my insurance, though I believe they will cover everything but the donor fee (at least that is what my insurance told me last year when I looked into it). I have access to their on-line database too.
The hope that keeps me going is that hopefully the DHEA and HGH I took will make this one egg a real rock star. Otherwise, it is time for me to move on from my own eggs.
When will you be cycling with DE?

I hope this egg is a rock star too. Maybe the 12 will catch up, it might be around 15 or so by ER. Do you think cute boy will do your ER?!
Odd, I never got a pricing sheet, they just told me what the price would be. I will have to ask them for one, I would be interested in seeing the break down. Have you gone thru the database yet? I remember there were some decent potentials. It was very weird going thru it becasue they show you current photos. It felt very match.com-ish, if that makes sense. lol I could not be happier with the donor we are using (we are doing frozen)... I told H that I think the child would be better off with her genes than mine anyway...
I have an appt with Witz next friday...I am hoping we can still be on track to do the transfer 2/23.

Delta - I always love seeing you around! Us DOR ladies have to stick together!
Reb - I love the idea of the frozen egg bank, but I have a feeling my insurance is more likely to cover a fresh cycle. And since we only want more baby, I would prefer to do a shared cycle and have less likeliness of extra embies left to deal with down the road. What is weird is that initially when I thought about doing DE, I wanted someone more with my coloring and features. I am brown hair, brown eyed and DH is blonde hair, blue eyed. Now I am leaning towards someone with blue eyes so that the baby would have blue eyes like my son and they will look more like siblings. Again, these are just thoughts that run through my mind. I don't know what variables will win out when selecting an egg donor.
I am still waiting for the call today to find out if I am triggering. And if Dr. Griffith can't do it, I would gladly take the cute new RE! I just can't tell DH - the new RE looks very much like the kind of guy I would have dated when I was single!

Sorry to barge in on the post but I totally chuckled at this because that's totally what it felt like to me when I was looking at donor profiles on some databases that show current photos! I joked to DH that since we did in fact meet in Match, it was ironic to be searching for a babymama on it :-) As for your other comment about genes, my mom said the same thing (my genes aren't so good with being BRCA+ etc) so I might be better off if we go that route!
NJohnson- wishing you luck and that 12 could totally be mature by Saturday:-)
