Quick! help me decide this re: daycare today.

Alice woke up too early (5:45) and we had a horrible morning.  Her nap at school is at 11.  I wanted to take her to the Air thing at Long Center this morning.  I was going to pick her up at 9:15, take her, then bring her back to school by 10:45 (hopefully), so that means she'd get there and then have to go down for nap.

Am I being too ambitious?  She really needs this nap at 11 and I guess I am thinking now she'll be too riled up from the field trip to do it.

Since she woke up early, I'd be concerned the car ride would put her to sleep. DS won't stay asleep if you get him out of his carseat, and rarely will he go back to sleep.

Have you heard from anyone else how long the wait is at the Long Center?  We tried going both Saturday and Sunday, and there was a 2+ hour wait both days (morning and afternoon).  I doubt it will be this bad during the week, but if you have to wait it could throw off your timing for her nap.

Anyway, we aren't going.  I am going to try again tomorrow on my day off.  Thanks, ladies.

What time are you thinking about going tomorrow?  I *really* want to go, so I'm thinking I'll try for tomorrow afternoon after nap (I have meetings in the morning).  I'm wondering if there's any chance to get enough people together to avoid the line?

Also, just noticed this on the website re: tomorrow: Please note between the hours of 10am and 12noon on Friday, January 20th, several school groups will have priority access to enter the Architects of Air exhibit.  This means there will be increased wait time that morning for those people that are not part of these prearranged groups.  Please plan your visit accordingly.
