I posted this in the newbie section, but since I'd like to spend my time here, I figured I'd re-post. Hoping that's OK!I wanted to introduce myself. Actually signed up quite some time ago, but medical issues sidelined any ttc'ing... last spring I successfully completed treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma! The very good news is that the chemo for the hodge has not been shown to have an effect on the ovum; pg patients have even been treated successfully. So... my obgyn is confident that dh and I are good to begin to ttc when we feel ready. She's had patients of her own go through treatments while pg. The not bad, but not fantastic news, is that I will be 37 next month, so naturally I'm looking to ttc sooner than later. Have been using opks and charting since finishing chemo, just to make sure everything's working as it should be. And it is. :)Am looking forward to reading about everyone's successes, and possibly being able to share my own in the future.

Don't be anxious. We are a kind group of women. On a side note, I also had to delay TTC due to cancer. It was only bladder cancer so it was not that big of a deal, it just delayed my plan by several years. It definately puts a different perspective on things.
I need lip balm more than I need food and water. The obsession is so great, I taught myself how to make it. Obsessed, I tell you.

Different perspective... you're not kidding. It took the big C for me to realize what I brat I could be sometimes. Never want to be that way again.

I almost always have a bottle of champaige chilling. Some people think that it is weird but I have learned to celebrate everything. I definately think that it has taught me to appreciate life.
Welcome!! Congratulations on your winning battle, that is awesome! I adore your screen name, and I, too, am addicted to lip balm. I've been a member of the lip balm of the month club and have tubes everywhere... literally, pockets, purses, cars, dresser, nightstand, desk, barn (I have horses), etc. Being stuck without it is just... ugh! :-P
Even though you have quite a cool sn, I really wish for you that you don't need to be here long and you graduate over to pg after 35 right away! Best of luck!
