WDYT of Griffin?

DH and I cannot agree on a name for DS#2 (DS #1 is Nolan and DD is Emma). The name we both like is Griffin Matthew. I am ready to commit to the name but DH is still not sure. I like the way it sounds with our other children's names. Anyway, I was just curious as to what people generally think of this name. TIA!!

I know too many little Griffin boys (at least three) so I'm going to have to go with overused. Not a fan of the NN Finn either.

It is my maiden name

so we considered it for DS#2, but it just doesn't sound great with our last name...not a fan of the nn "Griff" either...

I initially really liked the name Griffin Matthew.. Then that little voice in my head said, "wait, Griffin, as in Peter? From Family Guy? or the mythelogical creature?" I always seem to find something to associate a name I like to, that makes me not like it anymore. It's a solid name, but that is eventually where my mind went.
