How big is your house?

We have a 2000 sq ft 4br/2ba split entry.  It's fine for the three of us, but once baby comes along, I'd love to be in something bigger, with a different layout.  My next house must have:  bedrooms all on the same level, and a laundry room on the same floor as the bedrooms.

About 2700 sq ft.  No idea if that includes the basement or not - can't remember.

4 br, 3 1/2 bath.  The formal dining room is going to be E's playroom, and 1 br is our office area. 

We bought with the intention of staying until retirement.  We're also most likely finished having kids - so this is a good size home for us.

We have a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house (2100 sq.ft). We thought we would be filling at least one of those extra bedrooms but that hasn't happened yet. It's nice though when family comes into town because everyone can stay with us and there's plenty of room.

about 2000 square feet.  We would like to move to something bigger (and on a bigger lot) eventually.  It's more about the layout - we have a Cape so the upstairs is only 2 bedrooms and the 3rd is downstairs.  We have more room downstairs than we really use.  We'd also love a finished basement, but our current basement doesn't really lend itself to be finished.

Our house is just over 1,200 sqft. I would like bigger house, but  we can easily afford this one. We have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so now with our DD and us there is plenty of room. We have 2 acres and right now I'm happy to have a little bigger yard and a little less house. That may change one day.

Ya Never Know

Our town home is about 1300 sq. ft. If the layout of the house wasn't so awkward on the main floor, I'd have absolutely no issues with our home, but the dining room/living room of our house just doesn't make any sense. If I could find a similar house that just had a better main floor, I'd probably live there forever. lol

I think if we could swing it, a bigger house would be nice, but we're not willing to spend the extra money to do it for another few years.
