  • On Tuesday I had my 27 week appointment. Blood pressure was good, weight was up (7lbs since the month before), and baby is measuring about two weeks ahead. Today I had my glucose testing and OMG I don't really want to go through that again. After waiting and then them taking 4 vials of blood, I almost fainted. The nurses checked my blood pressure and everything was okay. I just hope I passed that stupid test.

  • Yesterday was 37 weeks for me and this babe! Officially carrying "not a preemie!" Very exciting. My OB appointment was a little discouraging, though, as my blood pressure has gone up a bit. OB said if it's up more next week he'd like to induce, but prefers that my body goes into labor by itself. Hopefully our upcoming low key weekend will help keep the bp down.

  • Hi! I would like to be added to the list under Thinking about TTCing...

Mybb- DS born at 28w1d due to severe pre-eclampsia

  • Hi everyone!  I just got my bfp today!  Based on my O date, I'm due Sept 29.  I've been having brown spotting for a few days now.

I think everything is probably okay, but I requested to have some blood work done to check my progesterone and hopefully my betas for fun.  :)  I have a short LP, so I'm worried about my progesterone more.  I was actually going to call the dr and schedule an appt if I wasn't pregnant this month since low progesterone is so easy to fix.

    Congrats and GL to everyone!

  • Oh ladies..I need some support for sure...Things have not been so smooth. My 18wk appointment my BP was elevated so they increased my Aldomet to 2tbs or 500mgs a day. I am on meds for migraines and I have a more then needed therapy appointment tomorrow.

I pray every second of every day not to develop PreE or for this little one to come early or earlier then 36 weeks but I am quickly loosing faith.

My contractions are few ( no more then 2-4 a week!) and I fully attribute that to the p17 shots and that is the GREAT news. I just wish ( as most of us do) that I could just get pregnant, stay pregnant and deliver a FT healthy baby. I really hate to say this but it is shaking my religious faith to the core but I know you ladies understand.

You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. How's your blood pressure been at home?? Are you taking it daily? Probably more then that, I'm sure.

I do take it a home and it depends how it is..If DH is home and I lay in bed it is usually 110-117/ 65-75 but if I am up cleaning, laundry, even homework for to long it can be 135-140/80-88...I just increased my does of Aldomet so hopefully that works for a bit...at least 16 weeks or so :)

  • This is my final weekend as a mommy of only one outside baby. My c/s is on Thursday morning (at 39 weeks) and I'm READY for him to be here! Everything has been good at my numerous appointments over the past weeks - measuring right around the 60th percentile in weight estimates. This boy is LONG - my u/s tech says he's gonna be skinny and long as all get out from all the scans I've had.

There have been no signs of hydrops or pre-e, and my fluid levels have stayed within normal range (even though it's been the low end of normal). I'm thrilled to have made it this far and to be having a FT baby even though the past weeks seemed to have moved slower than molasses.

Lawrence Michael will be here Thursday! ::does happy dance::
