YAY for DH!!!

I just found out this morning that his new contract went into effect this pay (tomorrow) and not next pay so we will be getting his raise plus back pay from May tomorrow!!! His dept. has been in a contract dispute since 2002. Then he gets his 6 month raise in this next pay based on the new contract as well. Oh I am so glad this is taking effect now before I go on leave.

Thats good news! My dh is also an officer and he is hoping to get on the day shift this coming year. RIght now he works from 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm so if he is stuck on this shift he wont get to see our girls much. :-(
