Can we AW our DH's?

DH did something really nice for me and I want to brag.  Feel free to brag about yours!

First, the other morning he scraped my car windows for me before he left for work.

Yesterday was his Mom's birthday and he got her a mani/pedi.  I was joking around with him that since he got a new truck, the least he could do was buy me a mani/pedi and give me a couple of hours to myself.  Well I get into bed last night and feel something in my pillow case.  It's a funny V-Day card with a g/c for a mani/pedi!  The funny parts: I was laying on my pillow for about 30 minutes before that reading and didn't notice it!  And we don't even celebrate V-Day, lol!  He joked that he had already gotten his birthday shopping done for me (my b-day is in December).

I really don't give mike enough credit. And I'm starting to realize this. He's worked his a$$ off to get us in a place where I *can* stay home with Ben, and I love him for that. He's also been super supportive over my decision to stay home and to go into real estate/ThirtyOne Gifts.

 But he still stinks at the guitar. LOL.

DH is 100% completely sedentary. He had gained almost 40lbs since we got married 5 years ago. I worry about his health. He has not worked out a day in his life since high school.

In all of this Mexico-diet madness he joined the gym and has really committed to being healthy. I'm so proud of him. He leaves the house at 7am and gets home at 6pm, then he's been mtg his brother at the gym to run and lift weights at 8:30 when the kids go to sleep. I, myself could never have the motivation to go that late and I'm so, so proud of him. He's already lost 15lbs since the twins were born and he wants to be back at his wedding weight by our 5 yr anniversary on 8/31

He massages my anti-itch lotion into my rash almost every night. If that isn't love I don't know what is! He also brings me a cup of coffee in bed if I am still sleeping when he is up & getting ready in the morning.

Oh, and he just refinished our little attic space & it looks awesome. Now I can continue on my organizational nesting spree!

that is cute that he gave you a Valentine a month early! I guess he couldn't wait, huh?!

I can't really think of anything specific DH has done recently to make me swoon. But, he's a pretty great guy all around.

He did rub my back for me last night while we were laying in bed and I fell asleep since it was sooo relaxing. Hopefully he wasn't doing it as a way to warm me up for sexy time! I'll have to get him back tonight!   

My birthday is in a couple weeks and I took a PTO day the friday after so I can have a long weekend. DH took the day off too, and said he has something planned for all of us on Friday and for the 2 of us Saturday night... I'm sure it's dinner someplace fancy on Sat, but I'm excited he's trying to surprise me and plan it... I'm usually the decision maker on those things! And I told him I wanted to book a spa day on Saturday morning since I have a bunch of gc to use (from my bday last year) I was trying to decide if I should get a 1hour massage and mini facial or a 30min massage and spa facial (I only had enough for one or the other) and he said to book the 1hr massage and spa facial and anything else I wanted to go along with it! I'm thinking maybe a blow out and manicure since we are going out that night.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, my husband has a heart and mind of steel.  The pressure he's been under at work is enough to make anyone quit within the first week, but he has been sticking it out.  And he NEVER comes home in a bad mood.  I think he knows I'll spiral out of control if he does, so he always walks in the door with a smile on his face.

Plus, I've been upset about having to go back to work soon, so he's been really supportive about me finding a different job, and even working part time so I can be home with the kids.

That is a great story.

The entire house was sick with that stomach bug over the weekend. It was our first weekend off together is 4 months! I was excited to have him home for 3 whole days, but we got sick. Well B, me and my parents (who live with us) were all sick. He was running around cleaning, taking care of the baby, cooking, doing laundry, running to the store. He was awesome. I don't know what I would have done without him there.

He also works so many hours just so we can save enough for me to be home for 3 months during the summer. Love him.

DH helps me off the couch when I am stuck, and doesn't laugh when I am hobbling around but asks if I am ok. Last night he made us dinner and when I went in the kitchen to see what I could do to help, he said relax and put my feet up and he would take care of it. Also, he has been bringing me my water bottle all filled up when I forget and leave it downstairs.

Last week DH sent me a note at work via snail mail about how thankful he is to have me. It was such a nice surprise. He truly should work for Hallmark, he is an incredible writer so I couldn't read it at work since I knew I would cry.

I love gushy DH posts!!  Seems like they deserve it every once in a while in between b!tching sessions.

Mine has been taking such good care of me, practically waiting on me hand and foot, for the last 2 months.  I have been so unbelieveably sick with m/s and vomitting since Thanksgiving and he has done everything in his power to help me keep food down.  From running out to get specific Panera bagels (and toasting them every morning) to eating nonsense himself almost every night since I can't stand the smell of food being cooked.  I owe him, big time.  Absolutely love that guy!!

 My DH has really made an effort to help out around the house as I get bigger. I also got a full prenatal massage gift certificate which I can't wait to use.

My DH has really been a sport about the part-time SAHD thing.  He gets the boys out, does work around the house and I am grateful for that.

Last night DH went in to get J back to sleep after she woke up an hour after I came out of her room.  She's such a stinker and cling on to me that she will cry for quite a while and usually we give in and I just go in.  But he fought it out with her and she went back to sleep and I actually slept in our bed. 

2 nights ago, he entertained her so that I could finish sewing the crayon roll I had started.  This is a little thing but she will climb up on the sewing table and interfere so I never get to use it and I wanted to make my nieces crayon rolls by this weekend.  I still haven't done their rolls yet but at least I did a test run
