I'm going to say probably not. My husband built the new causeway bridge there, and had it been anything great, we probably would have lived there or I would have at least visited there. Instead he drove 90 miles one-way everyday. I'd just go to Galveston.
I should also add that our neighbors, at our house near Kemah, owned a very successful medical practice in Port Arthur, and they didn't live there. They lived on Crystal Beach at the time.
hmmm...ok well thanks for the info. My sister just moved to Mississippi and my mom is flying down from Michigan and we were all trying to meet half way. You think Lake Charles is better??
