When do you generally register a child for the fall? We're going to start Will in school and though I have it narrowed down to three preschools, I still need to visit them and such.
The boys' school has registration early February. It starts on the 10th for "normal flow" (those who are already there) and then the next day is for siblings, then the day after is for church people who have kids who aren't already attending and then finally the last day is for people who don't go to church there and don't have kids there. The lady in charge of giving out tickets says that the line for tickets starts as early as 4am.

That sounds like the school the kids I nannied for in NB went to and it was crazy. I had to go over at 3:30 so the mom could get in line for tickets.
Do you remember where Abby goes? Want to visit on Thursday morning with us?? It's Pajama Day. So Will could stay in his PJ's and come to Chapel to sing and stuff If a church one was one of the ones you were looking at that is Shoot me an email if you're interested (stacy at nicemonkeys.com ). This is Abby's last year before kinder but Emily is starting in the fall. We love love love love it. I thought about putting Emily at Montessori but I just can't imagine Emily not having all the wonderful memories Abby has of school. At the end of the year they give you a slide show CD that has hundreds of pictures on it set to the most perfect "kids growing up" music ever. It makes me cry everytime!
Re: s/o: MDO
You should call and check when they do registration and visit asap.
When we signed H up for MDO in Texas, I went with a friend and got there at 6 am to be sure we'd get our names at the top of the list.
This is especially true if your MDO is part of a church program where there is likely higher demand and not so much room.
Yup, it's usually February.
