I got a crock pot for Christmas. I have never cooked in one before. Can anyone suggest a good starting point? Or any tips on what to do with it? Our family eats a lot of vegetarian dishes (I cannot get DS to eat meat), so any suggestions for veg dishes are appreciated. I would like to use it because it seems like such a time-saver.
Re: Crock pot virgin?
There's a blog that is all about crockpot cooking...

Maybe it's a place to start? And you can buy several Slow Cooker cookbooks - maybe check amazon for a vegetarian one?
I have several Crockpots, but rarely venture out from soups/pulled pork, unfortunately.
