Clicky: Do I take him to the pedi or ride it out?

I always feel so stupid about this kind of thing, like I always make the wrong call.  So I'm polling.

Just got a call from daycare.  Poor Lukey has thrown up twice and is running a 101 fever.

My default is to call the pedi, tell 'em the symptoms, and see if they think he should be seen. Most of the time they say yes, bring them in.

My vote is for a stomach bug as there have been some pretty nasty ones going around. For that, there is nothing that they can do so I say ride it out.

This. I bet with the fever of 101 they'll want to see him though.

Ditto.  My Luke had that last week and the fever lasted 24 hrs then was gone.  But when in doubt give them a call.

Did the school tell you if they have a stomach virus going around or not?

They didn't say, but picking him up is always tricky because I want the other non-sicky to stay in school so I have get him the tricky way.  Doesn't exactly lend itself well to discussions with the teacher. 

But we're home now, and he's acting just fine. I wouldn't know he was sick at all so maybe this is something very mild?
