Hello, my son is 6 months old and will not hold his own bottle. Is there something I can do to help this along? We have tried not holding him while he is eating by putting him in his bouncer seat and propping bottle on a blanket. We have tried placing his hands on the bottle while we feed him. He just has NO interest in holding his own bottle. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Re: Not holding own bottle
Some babies just don't. My oldest who is now 3, never held her own bottle. She never liked the soft spout sippy cups either because you had to tilt it to get anything. She was the lazy baby. My youngest didn't hold her own bottle until about 10 months.
Enjoy the time you get to spend holding your baby and the bottle. It goes way to fast and by the time you know it, they don't want to cuddle anymore.
