Sleeping Coach Recommendation Please

Good morning ladies,

I will be moving g to Boston in a few weeks with my now 6 week old baby.  He is a really bad sleeper and would only sleep on our chest.  He is getting so little sleep and I'm exhausted.  It breaks my heart to see him like this.   We would like to get him some professional help- if cost permits.  Please let me know if you used a sleeping coach or consultant in the area and if you enjoy your experience with them.  Thank you in advance.

I got theh DVD called the Happiest baby on  block. It saved us. It cost around 30 dollars and it works. I get it for all new mothers now. It is five easy steps and it works. I use it on my one year old some times still to come her down and it still works. I hightly recommend it. Good luck.

I took at sleep class at Isis while I was still PG -  I don't see that class offered anymore. But I see that they offer one on one sleep consults. I can't remember our teachers name but she had been trained on sleeping to aide NASA. She was great!! Had lots of great, easy tips and was super patient and understanding to all our questions.

I've also heard that happiest baby on the block is good. sorry, i have no experience with it but have heard it spoken of very highly.

good luck to you and your little one. it's so hard but it will get better! :)

I was also going to recommend ISIS. They def. have sleep coaches. I think they are over the phone consults. Not sure on the price. I also took a sleep class at the ISIS location in Brookline. That location is no longer open but you could check the other locations. I thought the class was decent but nothing over the top. One thing I can say, is at 6 weeks my LO slept on our chest too. He is now 6 mos. and we are trying to get him in his crib with a little sleep training. With that said, I was always told that its hard to establish any type of routine/training until at least 3 or 4 months. Good luck! Hope you get some sleep soon!
