WWIFVD?

Alright guys, I need some advice.

CCRM finally got my results. They are okay with my OB's plan for just a hemo on consult during pregnancy. They are also okay with us cycling now. As in starting next week. I was convinced it was canceled because they had told me I needed a normal CBC before we could cycle. Now they just think this level is normal for me and are okay with it.

We've had a hell of a month. The puppy being sick and all the vet bills (she's still not 100%), the vacuum breaking which meant $500 for a dyson, the washing maching breaking so $700 for a new one, and the back and forth about my platelets.

My question is- would you cycle starting next week?

Reasons to go ahead: We have a solid plan in place for this cycle. Acu seems to be helping my lining. Money is all set to go. Meds are ready to go thanks to this wonderful community. Timing works in our lives in terms of appointments and potential pregnancy. And, dammit, I'm tired of waiting.

Reasons to not go ahead: All reasons above will wait a month. It might be good to try to let the stress level die down a bit. Our luck doesn't seem great right now (but it hasn't been great for awhile).

So brilliant ladies, what do you think?

Re: WWIFVD?

  • I would just go ahead and cycle.  You never know what life will throw at you and it's hard to find a perfect, stress-free time to cycle. I think you have some solid reasons for moving forward.

I think it's time for your luck to change.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

  • I would go ahead and cycle.  You seem to be ready, IMHO stress will always be there, if it is not one thing it is another.

GL with your decision and I'm sending you lots of PPV's!

Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
  • Worms summed it up pretty good.  I would move forward.

Plus, if you start now, your baby would be due in October/November.  Put it off, then it would be due in December and that is not the easiest month for birthday parties.  This is how I base my decisions (not really, but it is something I think about Stick out tongue).

  • I definitely would go ahead now.  Waiting for a the "right time" is not usually a great idea.  No timing is ever perfect.
