My co-worker is a wimp

He's a good worker and gets his stuff done so I can't really complain, but in the three months that I've worked up here, he's called out sick at least once a week. If he as much as sneezes once in the morning, he calls out.

That drives me crazy.  God knows how many times I've been to work, feeling like crap, because I just don't feel right calling out unless I'm dying.  I can't stand people that do stuff like that.

I know. It's so irritating. I guess because so much of our work can be done at home he can at least get his work done but still - he's totally taking advantage.

On one hand, I hate when people come to work when they're really sick and infect everyone else, but once a week?  Maybe he has a bad immune system?

No, he's totally fine. I'm 99% sure that what he's experiencing now is allergies. He called in yesterday to a meeting and didn't even sound congested despite his complaining about it today.

Great, now he's clipping his nails. Didn't you have all day yesterday to do that?!?! GROSS!

That would bug me to no end. How does he get away with it w/o someone saying something to him?

dude, you get that many sick days? I get 5 and they still question you when you call in!

I know we have unlimited sick days, but actually getting to take one is like pulling teeth.
