I just read your post below on transitional K. Since you are in the Central FL area, could you point me towards preschools that may offer the PK5 classes you mentioned? I've been looking for a similar option for my son with a summer birthday, and I haven't found any. If the cost isn't extraordinarily high, this sounds like it may be a good option for him. We plan on delaying K for a year, and as of right now, our two options are keeping him home next year or re enrolling in VPK and paying out of pocket for it.
