Since my son turned 14 months we've had a hard time getting him to eat dinner. He does good with breakfast and loves snacks of coarse but dinner has continuously been a struggle

he's picky when it comes to what he eats to begin with but since turning 2 he will refuse to eat dinner even if it's something he likes. I was making a few different thing in hopes that he would eat something but I decided the other night I'm done with that! If he doesn't eat the tv gets shut off and if he still doesn't eat the it looks like its off to bed for you! I feel bad because I would think he'd be hungry but the dr said he won't starve himself : / anyone have similar experience or have advice ?! Please!
Re: Help! Picky 2 year old!
Shut off the TV first. He's not concentrating on eating if the TV is on.
If he's not losing weight, then I agree with your Dr. that he won't starve himself. Sooner or later he will eat. If he eats breakfast and snacks, can you give him some of the same foods for dinner?
