What to do with BD?!

So I'm a single mother to my 4 month old daughter. Her father hasnt seen her once since she was born. Hes 26 and is still partying his life away with no worries. Everytime we try to talk he always ends up getting angry with me and says things like " I need a DNA test" blah blah blah . He knows its his. ugh just typing about him makes me mad! Anyways , I'm debating on whether I should just stop talking to him period and keeping him out of my childs life. He hasnt seen her yet so IDK. I need some advice and input.

Take the paternity test and file for child support. Do not let him see your LO unless he takes you to court for visitation.

Thanks for the advice. Yea I think its best to stop talking to him and not let him see her until he takes me to court, which he probably wont.

I would stop talking to him and I would file for child support.

 My daughters father has no involvment in her life, ever has seen her and never will. I dont get c/s (my choice) but I want nothing to do with him or from him, but I dont think thats the way to go in every situation.

Get the paternity test over with. Is he helping you financially? If he has the money to party away then he has the money to support his child.

I agree with others, he doesn't have to be a part of her life if that's his choice, and yours of course, but I would have the court make him take a paternity test so you can get child support. Having a child is not cheap, and he deserves to take part in some responsibility, even if it's only financial.

I agree.  I was going to add that later, but when you file for child support they will order a paternity test.  So go file for child support and cut off contact with your Ex.

Thank you all ! I'm most likely going to file for child support. Its time for him to step up atleast financially.
