My neighbors who had their LO a few months before DD was born named their son Trustin Karma Rasta LN.

I never talked to the mom, but the dad was pretty cool and we were friendly. I would never say something, but every time he mentioned the name I cringed inside.

That is terrible!!! Trust in karma and rasta?? Do they want their child to be a hippy pot smoker? I mean, I don't mind if people trust in karma or even consider themselves rastafarians, but really? Why force this on your child? If he/she wants to grow up to believe in these things, ok, but why make it his/her name!?

Ugh, this is just awful. People who believe in Jesus don't name their child Trustin Jesus Christianity. People who believe people should be vegans don't name their children Trustin Veganism Vegetables. So on and so forth.

Sorry. End rant.

I hate when people seem to forget that their child will one day be an adult with their own life and opinions. Also, at least give the kid options with a "normal" middle name or something!
