Syracuse Basketball.

I am not a huge basketball fan, but obviously living in Syracuse now, I follow SU. I'm so happy that they are having such an amazing season, esp. after all the Bernie Fine drama at the beginning of the season. I'm glad that the kids playing rose above all the crap the media was talking about SU. GO ORANGE!!!

GO CUSE!  It is fun how it brings people together in the community too.  I grew up there so I follow it a little, but my dad, uncle, sister, BIL, cousins, etc. are all alumni so it is hard to escape.

I agree, it's great that they've gone on to do so well after everything with Bernie Fine.  DH went to school at LeMoyne (with Meryl!) so he pays attention to SU stuff.  My SIL is in the athletic training program so she worked almost all of the games in December so I actually paid attention

We have season tickets so of course we are big fans! My FIL says this is the best Syracuse team he as ever seen. Being 71 he has seen a few. SU basketball is all this city has so this is such a good thing. I still remember that April night in 2003 when they finally won the championship. It changed the program forever. I tutor a bunch of athletes at SU also so I feel a part of it.

I've been a big fan for my whole life. I remember being in 6th grade in 1996 and we had a school-wide pep rally before the final four game. So much fun!

In 2003, my friends and I got all got noise citations during the national championship game because we were living in the dorms and we were on 24 quiet hours during finals. I went to my hearing with the director of our dorm and she was sick so we met with the director of a different dorm and she looked at the citation's date and time and burst out laughing. She said she grew up in Syracuse and didn't blame us one bit for being noisy!
