babies and cats?

We have 2 cats one of them does not like the boys and she pretty much hides from them durring the day but sleeps under their cribs at night.  The boy cat puts up with a lot being hit, cornered and Max just loves to grab his ID tags and pull.  Both my boys have been scratched by the cats nothing major but still a scratch. 

I always thought that the boys would get scratched, scared and never do it again, but this is not the case.  Obviously when I see the boys around the cats I try to move them or distract them, but is there anything else I can do?
