2nd C-Section

Wanna know if anyone knows how the 2nd c section goes i am supposed to be having a planned c section July 3rd and i wanna know if it is going to be worse then the first? or take longer to heal? or what to expect if anyone can give me some insight please i really want to know what to expect since i am trying to return to work asap after this c section

My second and third c/s were much easier than my first. I labored for 14 hours before having an emergency c/s with my first, and I think my body was exhausted and the OB was rushing to get DD1 out, which I think contributed to a harder recovery.

With my others, they were scheduled with my OB who took his time and I hunk did things with a little more 'finesse'. Those recoveries were much easier.

My second was super easy. I don't know about recovery since the 2nd time I actually had a baby to care for instead of just visiting in the NICU for 8 days.

My 2nd c/s was MUCH easier than my first and the recovery was much quicker. I felt 100% my normal self at 1 week pp (first time around I didn't even feel somewhat ok until 3 weeks and wasn't 100% for several months). Good luck and congrats!!

My second was even easier recovery-wise than my first. And I thought the first was pretty easy. Get up and walk as soon and as often as you can - that's key!
