Where to find glycerin (liquid) in store?

Hi! I am looking at a recipe for homemade hand soap online that says you should be able to find liquid glycerin in the first aid aisle in the stores. I have looked at Target and CVS now and no luck!

Anyone able to find this in store and have a recommendation?  I have not tried Whole Foods yet... I see a couple on Amazon, but seems a little pricey (I know it will last for many batches of hand soap....)

 Thanks for your help!

  • I got mine from Wal-Mart..in the pharmacy section near the band-aids.

  • Oh great!  I will have to try my Walmart and see if they have it!  I had been looking in the first aid aisles near bandaids too.... I should've asked the pharmacists at the stores, but didn't have time.

    Thanks for your response!

This, as well as grocery stores near the laxatives and craft stores.
