Bleeding after HSG?

Good morning!

 I had an STP (like an HSG, but without the dye; they use saline instead) on Friday afternoon.  I had a little spotting after that and dripped the saline for the rest of the day.  I was fine on Saturday, but yesterday in the middle of the day I had bright red spotting.  Is this normal?  I don't want to call if it is, and Dr. Google only says right after the procedure.

    I had spotting off and on for at least 2 days after my HSG, maybe even into the 3rd day but it stopped after that.  The info sheet my RE gave me said to call if you have bleeding "resembling a period."  I think as long as it is technically spotting and you're not more than 3-4 days after the procedure, you're probably fine.

    THANKS!!!  I think I was just surprised because it stopped for a day and then all the sudden, bright red blood.  Then it turned like a mauvy color.  Gross.

    I just got an HSG yestday, but so far, not too much spotting, although, they did say that was normal.
