OTC eye drops for LO?

In going along w/ all the cedar fever posts (I think DD's started out this way but now she has a 102 fever)....

DH is SUPER allergic to cedar and always has burning/stinging eyes when cedar is high (along w/ congestion/headaches/etc).  DD has been saying her eyes hurt, and she seems a bit relieved when we put a cool wash cloth over her eyes.  I can't get her to go into too much more detail, except that she will say it's her eyeballs that hurt, not the area behind her eye.  They do not look red, just kinda puffy and sick-looking if that makes sense.  

I've never bought eye drops for myself even, so is there a specific brand or kind that you guys recommend for children?  Or is that even safe or recommended for kids under a certain age?

We use Similason Allergy Eye Relief for all three of us. It's homeopathic and we were told safe for DD to use.

you could use saline as a rinse. DH does this throughout the day and says that it's helpful.
