The Honda Odyssey! Thank you everyone who replied to my post a couple weeks ago. We test drove the Sienna and the Odyssey and the Honda won hands down. The option for 3 carseats across the middle is perfect! Sienna does not offer this, for anyone wondering. In fact, the Odyssey is the only minivan that currently accomodates 3 carseats in one row. It was a big factor for me because DS#1 is not yet ready to buckle or unbuckle himself and I didn't want to have to climb all the way into the back of the van every time to do it. Plus, the center seat where we will put the infant carseat moves forward 5 inches giving me easy access to the baby and keeping the toddlers' hands from exploring the baby.
P.S. It drives like a DREAM. Heaven, seriously.
Re: Purchased our 3u3 vehicle, and the winner was...
Nice!
That is probably what we would get if we got a van. We have had a Honda Pilot for the past 6 and a half years and we loooooove it. It STILL drives like a dream

Girl, you need to post about your 3u3 life for all of us moms wondering what we're getting ourselves into!
That's great that you can fit them across though. We had an Edge and it wasn't happening. We pretty much had no choice but to get a larger vehicle.
I had to buy a Sunshine Kids (now Diono) Radian for DD. When DS2 needs to be in a convertible we'll have to buy at least one more Radian unless we get a new car by then, which I doubt.
That's great! We have a 2011 Honda Pilot but looked at the Odyssey the other weekend. We decided to just stick with our Pilot since we can get 3 cars across the middle or do 2 in the middle/one in the 3rd row. The new Odyssey is really nice through.
Nice!
We just bought a new car this summer (because our old car died but in good timing because we got pregnant a month later and would've needed a bigger car anyway!) and went with the Pilot but the Odyssey was a strong contender! If they had them in 4WD it probably would've won out
I drove one (an Odyssey) for the family I nannied in college though and loved it and that was 5 years ago now so I can only imagine they've made great improvements since then! Enjoy!
If you want to put a car seat on that middle seat, the Odyssey is not going to let you do it. I have an 09 Sienna 8 seater (the last model year before the new body style) and the middle seat in the second row is not one of those goofy magic seats that Toyota and Honda sell now. It's more of a true seat that a human could sit on. I have a Graco Nautilus installed on ours now (between two MyRide 65s). Three rather large seats all correctly installed on the third row. That's the van you need, mama!
