I'm just starting to CD. I am worried about washing however. I have a HE top load washer with agitator. I am trying to figure out the best way to wash the diapers.
I've researched as much as I can but because top loading HE washers with agitators are not common it's not a common problem.
Any suggestions?
Re: Newb question
All wash routines are pretty much the same, regardless of machine.
Cold Pre-rinse (to remove a bunch of the ickiness): on my machine, I do "rinse and spin" with low spin. A short wash with no soap also works.
Hot Wash with extra rinse: use detergent in this one. If you can adjust the water level, add some extra. If you have an extra rinse function, use it. Otherwise, run another round just like the cold pre-rinse.
Some machines can be set to do it all at once, others require you to start it up 2 or 3 times. It's not that bad.

I can't adjust the water level in the machine. It senses how full the washer is. It's no fun.
I hope that it all works.
