How did you meet DH/SO?
I know I've answered this one on here before---and I'm sure it will come up when it's my turn to be the bumpie spotlight...but I like sharing it anyway lol While I was working part time at a pizzeria. He was my manager's best friend and often he'd come pick him up at work before they'd go out to party. The crazy thing is though, we went to the same high school (he was a grade below me) and in my graduating year he was in the same homeroom as me and our lockers were seperated by just one person...but we NEVER spoke!
Where are you from?
I live just outside of Montreal (Quebec, Canada) I *think* I'm the only one from Quebec.
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage?
Bloody Cesar--don't know if any Americans will know what that is though
It sounds gross but it is AWESOME. I'm also a big fan of tequila shots

these days? none! But I tend to prefer being on top and my favourite place to have sex is in the shower.

How did you meet DH/SO? We actually met in high school and went to college together. We dated for 7 years, and have now been married for just over 5 years.
Where are you from? Originally the Mitten, but now a mountain town in Utah
What's your favorite thing about being a mom? Everything, but that's not a good answer. The way she looks at me, when I hear her giggle or babble to herself..ok, pretty much everything.
The cutest thing your LO does? She laughs so hard she ends up screaming like a teradactyl dinosaur...or what I imagine a dinosaur to sound like.
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage? I don't have one favorite, I have two: a nice cabernet or a micro-brew Hefeweisen

How did you meet DH/SO?
We met in college. I stole him from a sorority sister. People may have judged then but clearly I was right.

What's your favorite thing about being a mom?
It's far easier to list my least favorite things but I guess I would say any time he looks at me and smiles or giggles. I love him more than words can say.

The latest is the startle-giggle thing. It's pretty hilarious.

Depends on my mood but I'm a huge fan of wine (any kind really), I like light beer, or vodka-seven with a lime.

How did you meet DH/SO? We met in middle school. We were just friends until after high school though. We went to college together and got married when we graduated.
Where are you from? Just outside of Chicago
What's your favorite thing about being a mom? I love quiet time with LO. She rests her head on my shoulder and sighs.
The cutest thing your LO does? She makes a ridiculous laugh that her Dad taught her. It sounds more like a cough.
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage? I don't drink often, but a cold miller light is always good.

I went to school very close to the Canadian border, and had my fair share of Bloody Caesars. I have to say, they are delish!!!

How did you meet DH/SO? At a little crapshack of a coffee shop with surprisingly good coffee. We got crammed at a table together and I ended up asking for his number and asking him out later that day via text. (Romantic, I know).
Where are you from? Originally from Inchon, South Korea. Moved to California when I was five. Adopted when I was six and moved to Minnesota.
What's your favorite thing about being a mom? There isn't a specific thing. Just being able to be there for my DD, knowing I'm teaching her knew things.
The cutest thing your LO does? She plants her hands on the ground and stick her butt in the air and crawls around. She's done a couple tumbles because she goes too fast sometimes, lol.
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage? Soju shots. But I'm a light weight so I get to two and I'm feeling it already. I also love Sangria.
And your favorite sex position? I'll try anything once, but I'm a big fan of reverse cowgirl.
How did you meet DH/SO? Met DH at a bar, went on our first date two days later and inseparable ever since.

What's your favorite thing about being a mom? You mean besides the time off work? Kidding. Definitely experiencing things again through the eyes of a child. Like today playing in the snow with DD. I hate snow but it's fun when I see how much fun she's having
The cutest thing your LO does? DS does this quick little eyebrow raise right before he smiles and I can't get enough of it. He also sort of growls "aaahhhh" when he's putting a toy in his mouth and we call him baby jaguar when he does that.
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage? Not much of a drinker but Probably belinis, particularly peach.

How did you meet DH/SO? I was a stripper and he came into the club one night with his friend. I was so intimidated by him because I thought he was sooooooo hot. I almost went up to his friend but last minute I decided "fuckbucket it!" so I ran up to him and hopped in his lap. After that, we were inseperable. i quit dancing 4 months later. (I only danced a total of 8 months).
Where are you from? I am from Jacksonville, FL. By no choice of my own, I wound up moving to New Jersey. I now live in Delaware.
What's your favorite thing about being a mom? Everything! It is all I have ever wanted. There isn't one thing that I don't love. Even her poopy diapers! I'm a weirdo! haha. She is my world. I was born for to be a mom.
The cutest thing your LO does? She growls.. lol. I also like when we whisper to each other. I will whisper to her and she will whisper babblings back.
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage? Jack and Diet Coke (I actually had a glass tonight - first time in forever!)

How did you meet DH/SO? We met when we were babies! Our parents grew up together and played bar league softball on the same team. We didn't start actually hanging out until middle school. We were friends until he found out I had a crush on him and then we drifted apart (then he thought I was annoying). Years down the road I saw him pumping gas at the gas station and I yelled his name as I was driving past. He myspaced me that night and have been in love ever since!

How did you meet DH/SO? In college. I was a Freshman he was a Junior. I was totally into this one guy and he was a good friend of his. He went after me hard and I finally gave up on my puppy crush and agreed to go on a date with DH. We've been together ever since.

What's your favorite thing about being a mom? When I make my kids smile and laugh, it's the most beautiful thing in the world. Also, watching my 3 year old make my 7 month old laugh is just amazing and hearing my 3 year old say "mama"
The cutest thing your LO does? Laughing hysterically whenever DS1 looks anywhere near him or plays with him. It's like he's ecstatic that Ben even looked at him. He LOVES his older brother.

How did you meet DH/SO? In college. I actually found him on MySpace through a mutual friend's account. That is so embarassing to admit! I haven't told anyone IRL! Hahahaha. He was in a sociology class with one of my best guy friends.

What's your favorite thing about being a mom? Wow. Everything! I love that she loves me more than anyone else. I love that she gives me kisses. I love her laugh. I love her smile. I love snuggling her, that she trusts me, everything.
The cutest thing your LO does? Kisses! I make a kissing noise and she puts her hands on both sides of my face and comes at me like a fish! Then she giggles and does it over and over! She also laughs out loud at herself during peak a boo. Adorable!
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage? Merlot wine or Miller light beer. I also like whiskey sours and martinis. It depends on my mood. Wine is for casual drinking. Beer is for watching sporting events. Sours are for special occasions. Martinis are for when I'm feeling sexy. Ha.

How did you meet DH/SO? We met through friends in HS, started dating when I was 16 and he was 18. We dated for over 9 years before finally getting married (been married for 3.5 now).

What's your favorite thing about being a mom? Watching him grow and learn. The changes in the last 7months have been amazing to me and I've loved every moment so far.

How did you meet DH/SO? Long story short, we met in college and he kind of stalked me trying to get me to go out with him. I had a boyfriend and no interest in him but said we could be friends. We became best friends and then a year later I realized I liked him and we've been together ever since.
Where are you from? Originally from Lansing, Michigan. Transplanted to the Omaha, Nebraska area 4 years ago, and planning (fingers crossed) to move back to Michigan sometime this year.
What's your favorite thing about being a mom? Teaching Ev new things, and getting to watch him learn and figure things out on his own. It is amazing to me to watch him develop into this little awesome person.
The cutest thing your LO does? I can't pick just one, so top three are: 1. His real something-is-hysterical laugh; 2. He's obsessed with sticking his tongue out and he'll seriously do it for hours; 3. He realized it gets a good reaction (and gets him out of eating) to start blowing a raspberry as soon as you put baby food in his mouth. Annoying to have to clean food off every surface, but adorable because he does it just for the reaction.
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage? Sigh. I love long islands but they don't love me back. I'm pretty much banned from ordering them. My other favorite that I recently discovered is UV Cake with either coke or pineapple juice. So delicious.

How did you meet DH/SO? In high school. We started going out on the second last day of grade 9.
Where are you from? Born near Vancouver, grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, now live in Southwestern Ontario.
What's your favorite thing about being a mom? Being able to sit back and look at DS and DH playing or cuddling, and realizing, "This is our family. We made this." Sometimes when I am in the moment taking care of DS or snuggling with him myself, I don't really pause to take it all in.
The cutest thing your LO does? His latest thing is panting. I joked that he was copying the dog (who he is beyond OBSESSED with), but we didn't really think he could "copy" yet. Then the last day or two each time she walks into the room he sticks his tongue out of his mouth and pants. Then he laughs at himself. He is apparently aware of how funny he is.

How did you meet DH/SO? In the second grade! We actually graduated from the same high school, but didn't date until post college.
Where are you from? Originally, GA....but currently reside in Houston, Texas.

I lived in Wallingford for 2 years when I worked in New Haven. Now I live near Danbury. I grew up in Westchester though and lived in Manhattan for school. I got married in New Rochelle but I didn't post on the nest boards.

Yes, it's a small world! I miss that area so much. We moved to Tampa for DH's job and I'm still adjusting. I miss having seasons, lol. My ILs still live in CT so we are in the northern part of CT at least a few times a year.
We still own a co-op in Fleetwood and looked in New Rochelle for wedding stuff. I was in live with that place right on the water, right in the park. Crap, I can't remember the name but something with an island maybe? Lol.

OMG yes that's it! We were going to get married there if we had our wedding in NY. We chose CT since most of our older relatives didn't want to drive more than an hour away, heh.
I would trade in a heart beat, I miss the city and everything about it. Where you are is a train ride away, which is great in my book. Lol.

Where are you from? All over! I was born in South Dakota, and moved to Wisconsin when I was 8. I say I'm from WI. After college I moved to Ohio. That's where I met my husband. We just moved to the Dallas, TX area a year ago.
What's your favorite thing about being a mom? I really have so many, but I love when her face lights up when she sees me.
The cutest thing your LO does? She makes funny faces that crack me up. She has really chubby cheeks, so her crazy faces tend to be even more exaggerated.
What's your favorite alcoholic beverage? I don't drink much. If I'm out and I do order a drink (which is very rare), I get an amaretto sour.
