Who has a New Native baby carrier?

I'm looking at getting a sling for this baby. One of the girls at work recommended the NN carrier. She said she loved hers. She has twins and when they were born, she bought two NN carriers, one for her and one for her DH. And she used it with her third as well. I tried a Hot Sling with DS, I didn't care for it, so I returned it.

Would you recommend the New Native carrier?

No, I wouldn't. The Hotsling is pretty much a nicer version of the NN- they're the same basic design but the Hotslings have nicer fabrics with a little stretch to them. So, if you didn't like the Hotsling then you certainly wouldn't like the NN.

That being said, it's a highly personal thing. I happen to really like my Hotsling. I don't know that I would buy a sling as a gift for anyone- they're one of those love or hate thing and most people who do use them tend to prefer one specific kind. I'd hate to spend that much money on a gift unless I knew for a fact that the person wanted it- otherwise there's a good chance it will just sit in the back of a closet.
