What case did you purchase for it? Also, do you have a stylus pen? If so, which one?
I purchased DD an IPod Touch for Christmas. Although she loves it, she still uses my IPad most of the time when we are at home. Therefore, I think it would be a good idea to buy a "child proof" case for it. I tried going to google, but the results are overwhelming. If you could help me on this, that would be great!
Re: ? for those with LOs that use an IPad
We have the gum drop cases for our iPads since the boys play with them more than we do. They are fantastic and protect the back and the front/screen completely.

DS#2 - Allergic to Cashew, Pistachio, Kiwi
DS#3 - Allergic to Milk, Egg, Peanut, Tree Nuts and Sesame
This. I've had mine for over a year now. Ds is actually really careful with it, but I have been the one to drop it and knock it over and it's held up great. We also have otter box defenders for our iPhones and ds's I touch.
Otterbox makes cases for the iPad. I believe they also have a warranty (if you register the case) that if something happens to it while in their case they will replace your device.
That said, we just have one of the basic cases that can make the iPad stand so DS can watch his movies/play his games without it laying flat.
We have the case below. Not sure where my DH got it but I think we only paid like $25. I wanted one that covers the back and front. It works great as a stand. No stylus for us. Never felt the need for one.

I thought the Otterbox defender covers the screen??
This. We have Ghost Armor and the Magnetic cover for it. We haven't had any problems with it. We don't have a stylus but do have the Crayola App with the marker so he can color and the App Mates for the Cars App.
