I am not a Dr., but in my experience with a miscarriage, once we could not find the heartbeat we pretty much knew that it was not going to be a full-term pregnancy.
If you measured further back then what you thought, then it could be to early to see a heartbeat. Normally by 10 weeks they can see a heartbeat though.
I am so sorry. I've been there and it hurts like hell.
I would deman more answers from your Dr.

The doctor ordered another ultrasound because im still having pregnancy symptoms but at the doctor appt she still didnt hear a heartbeat because the first ultrasound i had the baby was measuring at 6weeks 4days and i was 7weeks...
Like other pp said, by 10 weeks you should be able to find a heartbeat by ultrasound. If you saw the baby at 7 weeks and still haven't seen/heard the heartbeat 3 weeks later than I'm afraid that means bad news. I'm sorry you are going through this. The women on the miscarriage and ttcal boards are wonderful, and when you are ready I suggest joining their community.
