In HS, a guy who worked with my family had a baby boy, and they named him Conagher (CON-a-ger). I had never heard it before, and apparently it's from a Louis L'Amour novel.

I just remembered this the other day and was curious if anyone else has ever known a Conagher or heard this name? I'm guessing it's not a legit name (all I can find with a quick Google search is info about the book and made-for-TV movie).

I think I like the way it sounds, but I would never use it. The guy from HS and a Louis L'Amour novel aren't good associations for me. Mostly just curious if anyone's ever heard it before.

Oh, and baby Conagher's big sister was Chloe. If you don't have a problem with alliteration, I think it's kinda cute.

It's a surname and it's ok as a first name. It's nms but I don't hate it.
