I HAVE A JOB!!!!

WOOO HOOOO!! I have been unemployed for over a year and a half. I have posted before about being single, unemployed with 2u2, and living with my mom. I am happy to say that I have finally found a job!!! I was a teacher in 2 other states but I am taking a big pay cut by becoming a T.A. but I get weekends off and I won't have to bring work home!!! I am soooo excited and nervous about how things will go with childcare (is it abnormal to call and check in on your kids?)

What a relief! Congrats!! And I don't think calling in to ck in on the kiddos at dc is a big deal at all.

Good for you. I have thought about leaving teaching and becoming a TA before- it would be so nice not to have the prep, report cards, marking, etc.
