Beyonce surrogate?

They were talking on the news this morning that sources within the hospital have confirmed that Beyonce's baby was delivered by a surrogate, hence the very crazy security at the hospital and the contracts everyone had to sign that were involved in the birth. What say you?  It sounds possible, and lack of pregnancy pics seems a little off... but I am not certain???  And why would you not just tell people you used a surrogate?

I don't think she had a surrogate. Especially she just did a big interview with someone while she was pregnant!

I don't really care if she used a surrogate.  I just think if she did it's really weird that she felt the need to wear a fake bump and pretend that she was pregnant.

I don't *care* per se, but if it is true, I do find it odd and very judge-worthy that she tried to hide it.  What does that say about surrogacy?  That it's a source of shame?  I think we can all agree that this attitude couldn't be further from the truth.

I really don't care how people become parents, but see no reason to hide it.  People cited the instance earlier in her pregnancy where her bump folded when she bent over as proof that she used a fake bump...and then seemed to almost disappear until the baby was born.   IDK...

She posed holding her belly when she announced she was pregnant...wearing a fake belly is creepy! I'm going to say that this rumor is false.

 That could pretty well be a big lunch, I kid, I kid. BUT putting on a few pounds for the sake of the show is not that hard neither and she has never been a skinny-minie...

A few pounds in her uterus. 

I don't think she faked the pregnancy, but if she did who cares? Her body, her baby, her choice. If she's lying it doesn't really matter, she doesn't owe it to anyone to give them all the details of her reproductive choices anymore than anyone else.

i can make my stomach look like that all the time. That creepy deflating stomach interview makes me think it was all staged. And I agree with Scout. Why do that? It gives it a bad image.

We had this movie on last night and I mentioned to my H that there was a Bumpie with a kiddo named Atreyu. He thought that was dope.

Now that damn song will be in my head all day.

It's just stupid if they hid it.

But I probably wouldn't be surprised. Hospital staff that came in contact with her had to sign all kinds of confidentiality paperwork and doctors and nurses were kept behind a portable shade when she was leaving. Which probably has more to do with them thinking they're God's gift to the world than any scandal.

For all the people that "don't care", why even open the post?  I totally care!  I could have cared less about Beyonce being pregnant - I'm not a fan - but the thought that she went through all of this to fake her pg.  That's weird and interesting all rolled into one!  It's like a car accident.

I think the scandal is a bit far fetched and silly but if there is any truth to it I think it would be interesting! And that is way I opened this post.

Oh and I think part of the reason people care is that they think she used a surrogate for vanity reasons not fertility issues. Personally I have no problem w/ that. Though I think that is part of the "scandal".
