VBAC

Is there a way...

to do a pinned thread for VBAC birth stories? I was lurking on Ba.by C.enter last night and reading a thread of VBAC birth stories and it was pretty cool and inspirational.

Just thought it might be neat but have no idea how you go about doing that.

  • I was actually just thinking this too.  It would be nice to have all the birth stories (VBAC and RCS) collected in one place.

I think we need a mod to help us.

  • I would also love to see a thread of everyone's favorite online, local and book resources.  That question gets asked all the time!

  • I think we need a FAQs section. Everyone could link their birth stories in one thread. We could have a thread with ACOG guidelines, one about doula questions, and one about book/birth methods recs. Yeah, we need moderator help.

  • I think if you email someone directly, they can help you out. Is it Kathleen? I can't remember who the current Bump goddess is right now...

Here's a link to ICAN's blog, they post a lot of VBAC birth stories: https://blog.ican-online.org/tag/vbac/

    DS2 - Oct 2010 (my VBAC baby!)

  • I'm not sure how I feel about FAQs.  I know we get a lot of the same questions here, but we are a niche board so that is to be expected.  There is only so much to say about VBAC.  I'm worried if we have a FAQ, people won't post as much and there won't be as much interaction/support here.

i kind of agree. I think a resources link would be helpful but I think asking questions (even repetitive ones) keep this board moving.
