Too early for FFFC?

Ashton has become "that kid". There are times when I dont even want to claim him as my own. Noah & Brooke never really had the tantrums or fits like Ash does, so this is all new to me & I want to rip my hair out.

Also, I realized when we were playing last night that he has cut 2 top molars. mom FAIL that I didnt realize this until the were already through the gums.

*Ashton IS the most adorbs kid in his DC...oh, wait. he is the ONLY kid there. Never mind.

My FFFC - we leave for Mexico in a week and I can't wait to get some time alone with C and our best buds (we're going with two other couples).  I love E and M, but holy effing shiizz they are terrors lately and I want to be drunk for 5 days straight while sitting at a swim-up bar and pretending I am not really a parent.

We started couples counseling last night, I already found myself doing very unproductive things in the session e.g. correcting DH, holding back, shutting down when talking about my dad's death.  I can tell this is going to be a rough road, but am oddly excited about it.

Lamer FFFC - I'm going to buy a pre-made dinner for friend who just had a baby, put it in a dish & pass it off as homemade tonight.

Your "lamer" FFFC isn't lame at all. I do this all the time with brownies and junk. People ask me for my recipe and I'm like "family secret, yo. Mimi would kill me."

Don't beat yourself up about the counseling session. GL to you!

My FFFC is totally irrelevant and lame but since its been really getting under my skin lately here it is:

I'm tired of my best friend treating me like total crap in the name of depression. I know she has issues, its been this way for 16 years, but I also have diagnosed depression and I have gone through similar things. It just irritates me that she can just disappear, not respond, "check-out", flake on plans etc. and then say "I'm depressed" and its all suppose to be okay.Its like she never ever considers me, or how what she does effects anyone but herself.

Also, the last time she got super distant it had nothing to do with depression. She had met a guy on world of warcraft and ended up moving out of state to live with him. She didn't know him and he ended up lying to her (10 years older than he said) and being abusive. She never introduced me to him, and never made any attempt to see me before she left, this was the 2nd time she'd done this. She quit playing the game for a year or so, but the last time she showed up to the house for a party she showed up with her laptop so she could play.

I know this is a rambling mess, but I just had to get it out. I still send her an email every week or so and tell her I hope shes doing well and I miss her, but I'm starting to consider sending her an email telling her how I really feel and how much her ignoring me hurts.
