Fri: Half day so I can get the seatbelt fixed in the car. Dropping Ky off with grandma and grandpa. PACK!
Sat: Drop the wife off at work for a half day. Go home and clean house/load car. Get wife from work and start on our way to GREEN BAY!!! We are stopping in Port Washington and the pool at our hotel is open until midnight and they have an arcade....yes we really are kids pretending to be grown ups!
Sun: We actually get to sleep in a bit *gasp* Then a short ride to GREEN BAY!!!! Wander around, watch the game, go to the pro shop....drive back to OH.
Mon: I am off but wifey may not be (one of her employees just stopped showing up to work so she might have to go cover for them). If she works I will drop her off and go home to sleep for a bit before going to get stinky baby. Then I will get her from work and we will probably crash when Ky does for the night.
No plans tonight. Perhaps we will go out to dinner.
Tomorrow I am going to take the kids to swimming and get haircuts while L stays home to work on school stuff. I've thought about taking the kids to Chuck E Cheese since they have been begging to go and L hates that place. No plans tomorrow afternoon/evening.
Sunday If L still needs to work on school stuff, I might take the kids to the health and fitness expo. Not sure if L wants to go if she isn't going to work on school stuff.
Monday We are both off and the kids are out of school. No plans as of now. I've thought about taking them roller skating.
I'm working from home today and Jen is off, and we have an appointment with our financial planner later this morning. No plans for tonight.
Tomorrow we're having dinner with some of Jen's work friends. We're in charge of dessert, but neither of us feel like making anything, so that will be a purchase. Maybe a cake or pie from Whole Foods. We also need to pick up produce to round out our freezer for the week. I will probably pack some and work on our birthday/going-away-party invitations.
Sunday we're meeting a friend for brunch - she lives four hours away, so we're meeting in the middle, brunching, and then wandering around an antique mall before heading home. Can't wait to see her.
We're both off on Monday. Jen is having lunch with a friend and I might go to the Newseum solo, since I haven't been there yet. I thought about asking a friend if she wanted to join me, but I selfishly want to have all the time I want to read everything, and not have to worry about someone else's schedule/boredom We have our regular MFM appointment in the late afternoon so I am looking forward to seeing the babies
We don't have any plans this weekend and I like it that way, I caught J/A's cold and it sounds like Apple has it too so a lot of nose suctioning (for Apple, not me) and rest will be in order.
J is trying to take a personal day on Monday so we can take the kids to the zoo or arboretum.
tomorrow DW has a brunch w/ some coworkers/friends. She's planning on bringing Sprout. the girls and I will find something to do.
sunday my parents bought DW and I tickets to see a play with them, but we are trying to get out of it (never really interested in the first place. grumble).
monday the kids have daycare but DW and I are off of work. ahhh, glorious! the plans are to see a movie and hit the casino.
my wife is working OT tomorrow so I'm going to stay up after she goes to bed to install a new OS on my computer...that sadly I bought just so I could run the new beta of a photo editing program I use. so I will likely also install the beta and play.
I'm not sure what I'm doing tomorrow while she's at work. I was going to try to find something out of the house for me and the boy to do, but the weather is supposed to be icy and really cold, so I'm thinking it may be a playdough and arts and crafts day. my wife has something going on tomorrow evening, so it might be movie night for us.
Sunday I don't know. Church I assume, but I don't know if we have any plans for the rest of the day.
Monday I do have off! my wife will be working and daycare is open, so I'm going to drop him off and head to the conservatory and downtown area for a few hours with my camera to get in a little alone time with it.
Tonight - C is going to Karate (probably her last time here in Michigan) and I'm going to take the evening to FINALLY finish the last of my work obligations.
Monday - U of M doesn't have it off, which means my (former) office is open. I'll finish baking the "thank you/goodbye" cupcakes and bring them over for my real goodbyes (my last day was weird, half the office was working from home).
Tuesday - the movers come. I guess we'll be ready by then!
@themommymonster - yes, we're moving to Chicago! We don't really know where yet, but if you come up to the city regularly, we should definitely get together! You know, at the apartment we eventually find, or alternately, our box under a bridge.
Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm. I am 35 and carrying. Endometriosis and DOR. AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish
Tonight: I'm having happy hour with a good friend. It's been a long week and I am so ready for a drink!!!
Saturday: I was contemplating coming to work because there are so many things I feel like I need to get organized before I move to my new position in Feb. But I think I'm going to put that off until the end of the month and hope that I get more of it done than I thought between now and then! If I stay home I'm hoping to tackle my filing/organizing project and other cleaning/organizing projects. So very exciting.
Sunday: More of the same from Saturday. Maybe some shopping. I seriously need some new work clothes. then groceries and prepping a bit for the week. E will come home sometime that evening since her school is closed Monday.
Monday: I have to take the day off! Boo for not getting the paid holiday. E's school is closed. I made an appt. to take her to the pedia for a skin issue she has that's not clearing up. After that, who knows what we'll do, hopefully something fun.
They are predicting a bit of snow in these parts on Sunday/Monday so it will mean mass driving chaos for these people who do not know how to drive when it snows! I grew up driving in it so just get out of my Lesbaru's d&mn way!!!
tonight is a usual night at home. Tomorrow is C's first Saturday that she has to work - tax season is here. Sigh.
But tomorrow night???? I am going out in the city with two great friends to a David Bowie tribute show. Bands playing Bowie covers and two burlesque troupes doing Bowie-themed performances. There will be drinking and merriment and did I mention the burlesque??? Omg I can't wait. DW is staying home with H and I am staying out until an ungodly hour. I have not done something like this by myself since...??? Let's just say a loooong time.
Sunday - recover
Monday - C is working, my family might visit me and H.
Tonight: Nothing. I will probably work late. Again. Sigh. Hopefully, I won't miss bedtime, but it is not looking good as I am waiting to hear if I need to file something and the client knows that I can file up to 11PM my time...
Tomorrow: I am hoping to sleep-in a little. Lex is a big fan of nurse-in mornings Then cleaning and maybe a trip to the Children's Museum
Sunday: Hopefully more cleaning and then over to the in-laws for the afternoon/evening
Monday: Kel and I are both off and the daycare is open. I think we are going to keep them at school for 1/2 day and spend it doing some major cleaning/organizing capped off with a romantic date lunch! I am redic excited to have a few hours together alone
