right i am newly pregnant but i am also a massive name nerd so i have had a list for years. when me and my husband were engaged i tweaked it abit to my husbands taste, i will say that i like more different names.

Edith: This is ok but NMS.

Mabel: Same as Edith.

Caroline: Same.

Beatrix: I actually like this - it is different but still in a way classic. I think it is pretty.

Ada: Pretty.

Margaret: I like this mostly because of NN possibilities.

Bethan: This is strange to me - It sounds rushed...

Josephine: Very pretty.

Pearl: NMS.

Garnet: I don't like this at all - sounds like garnish.

Boys

Yehuda: Don't like at all.

Judah: I'm surprised that after saying this outloud a couple of times I kind of like it.

Girls

Edith- a bit old-fashioned for my taste, but the nn Edie is cute

Mabel- too old-fashioned for me

Caroline- LOVE!

Beatrix- Kinda cute and spunky! Like it a lot!

Ada- Like

Margaret- Beautiful and underused

Bethan- I taught an awesome girl with this name. Like it a lot!

Josephine- Like

Pearl- Very sweet

Garnet- I have only known boys with this name.

Yehuda- NMS

Judah- Like it a lot

George- Love this name. Takes a while for a baby to 'grow into' but a great name.

Jedidiah- The full name isn't really my taste, but I do like the nn Jed

Arthur- Great name! Reminds me of Arthur from the kids' cartoon (I love that show even as an adult, haha)

Edmund- Like!

Victor- This is my father's, grandfather's, and great-grandfather's name! Like

Eugene- a bit too old-man for me

I really like Seth and I think it's really underused. My H has a 1-syllable last name, so unfortunately I don't want to do a 1-syllable first name, but I'd use it otherwise.
