Amazon Prime sucks

Okay, so someone explain this to me.

I ordered something via Amazon Prime (2-DAY AIR shipping) on Tuesday MORNING. It shipped Tuesday afternoon, thus putting it here at my house today.

I just tracked it and UPS says it's not going to be here until tomorrow!!! Lame. It was supposed to be here today by end-of-business.

Anyone else have longer shipping times when using Prime?

Re: Amazon Prime sucks

  • The only time I've had an issue was when it shipped via a third-party seller. It was Prime eligible, but it didn't come from the Amazon warehouse. It ended up being way late because the seller screwed up.

Otherwise, never had a problem with it.

I'd call customer service. They're usually very accommodating. While they can't fix this order, perhaps they can give you a shipping upgrade on the next order.

  • Same as above. It's the third parties that get you.

But here is what is says on my ship notice:

    Sold by Amazon.com LLC (Amazon.com)

  • I signed up for the amazon prime trial just to get $3 overnight shipping on a gift for Christmas. It was supposed to be delivered Christmas Eve. I got a text CE morning at 10:00 that said "we're sorry, but your package has been delayed by AT LEAST 1 day"..ugh, they aren't going to deliver it Christmas DAY - so make that AT LEASE 2 DAYS!

When I got home, the package was on my front porch.

I don't know if you will be lucky, but that it what happened in my case.

Hmm, yeah that is odd. I've never had a package that comes straight from them be delayed, except the bike I got DD for Christmas, but that's because it was oversized and they had to use a different carrier.  I'd call them, they're usually pretty helpful.  I'm a Prime addict, I use it constantly.

Ditto.  I would call them - the problem could be with UPS, not Amazon.
