Hello, there, new friends!

Hi!

I'm coming in, if you'll have me. Just found out yesterday that we are expecting #2. Wow - that seems so strange to type! We have a 14 month old, so we'll be 2u2 for just a couple of months, but in my lurking, I've already found that you girls are going to be great resources!

We honestly weren't trying for #2 - I didn't get AF back until our daughter was 13 months old. If you've already done the math, that means I had one AF and then got the news! Still trying to muddle through the emotions right now. We have always wanted 2 (I want 3), but we thought we'd wait until they were about 3 years apart. I am a ball of all different emotions right now - nervous and scared about caring for 2u2 and, of course, very excited.

I haven't told DH yet because I wanted to do something special and I also wanted to confirm and think through it a bit first. He won't be ecstatic, he won't be mad...I think he'll just 'Be' for a little while until it all sinks in. Again, we are not in a bad place in any case, but this just wasn't the plan. Lots of things we wanted to do...now we'll just delay them! Anyhow, I am going to go pick up a shirt for my daughter, some balloons, and a cake to announce on Saturday. Daddy works midnights, so we won't see him again really until then.

Anyhow - sorry for the essay. I just wanted to say 'Thanks' for the help you've already been and that I am looking forward to (and praying I get to) spend lots of time here with you girls!
