How to get the Nest avatar back

In a nutshell, you can right click on my avatar and save it to your computer.  Then go to "my bump" at the top left, edit your profile, and upload the saved avatar to your avatar photo.

And...just an FYI.  You can right click-save any pic and upload it to your profile.  I got mine from facebook.
