XP: Bedsharing/Cosleeping with Two Under 2

Hey everyone!!  

We just found out we are 8 weeks pregnant with our 2nd Monday, I am due August 20th and we have a beautiful baby boy already who is almost 9 months.  They will be 14 months apart.  

The thing is, we all bedshare.  My husband and I love bedsharing with our little babe and for those who do as well and plan/or planned to with their youngest --- how has it/did it work?

Thanks in advance for all your help! 

* we will probably try the bassinet next to our bed for the first few weeks, but our son hated it and prefered sleeping with us even as a baby and I liked it better so I'm wondering if full-on bedsharing worked for anyone.

Also, I'm breastfeeding my 9 month old and plan to until he is 2 years old so long as he still wants to.  So I will be feeding the newborn and my son.  And my son currently still feeds throughout the night.

Kudos to you for breastfeeding your son until he's two!  I stopped BF-ing my son shortly after his first birthday and I regret it.  He did really well, didn't have any problems weaning off, but I wanted him to self-wean and I feel guilty that I didn't let him.  I was persuaded by family members to wean him before the new baby comes.  At the time I wasn't too sure about BF-ing two at the same time anyway, but now I'm fine with it and I wish I wouldn't have weaned him.  Now I know for next time, I guess.

We still co-sleep with our son who is 14 months old and we don't have any plans of kicking him out, and we're expecting our second one in April.  It will probably be difficult, but I plan on co-sleeping with both of them. Sorry I don't have any advice for you, I just wanted to congratulate you on BF-ing and co-sleeping with two.

Thank you!! I love bedsharing, it happened naturally, we just discovered that he liked sleeping in our bed better so it made sense - we'll have to keep eachother updated!! Congrats to you too!!
