cant seem to confine EBF poop!

The majority of my stash is prefolds with rumparooz newborn, and thirsties covers. The poop never gets outside the diapers, but 90% of the time gets on the leg gussets! I use the angel wing fold. I've tried with and without snappis, and I know the size I have fits.......

any help is appreciated! thanks

    We never got the hang of it either.  We tried different folds and angelwing and newspaper contained it the best but frequently poo would get on the gussets.  We resigned to just buying more covers.  We had 9 during the newborn stage.  I could only imagine the damage he would've done in disposables :/

    I've heard that the bikini twist and the jelly roll are particularly  helpful for EBF NB poop. There are definitely YouTube videos that show you how these are done.

    What helped me was this: after I was done folding (whatever style) and snappi-ing the PF I would go back and re-tighten the leg area and snappi again.

    NB poo is super hard to contain- I consider it a win as long as it stays in the cover.  That's why I like covers with double gussets.   GL!

    Bikini twist helped us a lot. But it's going to happen...really, no matter what you're going to get some on the legs

    I agree with this!  It was awesome when she was big enough for us to start using pockets & they contained all the poo.  DH was amazed by their poo catching power and totally had no regrets about making the switch!
