Sort of fishy smell?

Hello,

My daughter is 2 months old and we have been using cloth diapers for about a month and a half and loving it! I noticed that the wetbag with her dirty diapers smells a little fishy.  I wash diapers every other day and don't use diaper cream.  (If I do I use Angel Baby Bottom Balm which should be CD safe, right?)  A couple of times I have noticed a very slight fish smell when she gets up in the morning and has a very full diaper but I don't think I would have noticed it if I wasn't investigating and trying to find out when then small appears.  What would you suggest I do to get rid of it?  Or is it just one of those things that will happen?  Thanks!

Has anyone been changing diapers besides you? Fishy smell usually means that someone has been using a diaper cream that isn't cd friendly.

This.  I can't imagine what would cause fishy smells other than a desitin type cream.

Nope!  I am a SAHM and we don't have any other diaper cream in our house.  I saw that could cause it but that's not our reason.  Hmm, it's a mystery!

Sometimes my DS's overnight diapers will smell fishy. It's just the smell of his built up pee from all night. Sometimes happens during the day as well if he pees alot at once

Hmm, good to know we're not alone!
